Job Responsibilities
Supervise and manage the daily operations of the NICU.
Lead and coordinate NICU nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Develop nursing duty rosters and manage staff schedules.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.
Monitor nursing performance and provide guidance, mentoring, and training.
Coordinate with pediatricians, neonatologists, consultants, and other departments.
Maintain proper documentation, reports, and quality assurance records.
Monitor NICU equipment, medicines, and consumable supplies.
Participate in emergency response and critical patient management.
Ensure continuous improvement of NICU services and patient outcomes.
Educational Requirements
B.Sc in Nursing (Preferred) or Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery.
Valid Bangladesh Nursing & Midwifery Council (BNMC) Registration Certificate.
Specialized training in NICU, Critical Care, or Neonatal Nursing will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in NICU or Critical Care Nursing.
At least 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of neonatal intensive care protocols and nursing management.
Additional Requirements:
Basic computer knowledge is mandatory.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Experience using Hospital Management Software (HMS/HIMS).
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage emergencies and work under pressure.
Excellent organizational and team management skills.
